PSEB Board Meeting Highlights Achievements in IT Sector and Workforce Development
The Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunications Shaza Fatima Khawaja chaired the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) board meeting at the Ministry of IT&T, Islamabad. The meeting focused on reviewing PSEB’s performance and the impact report for the fiscal year 2023-24. Key stakeholders, including Federal Secretary of the Ministry of IT&T, Mr. Zarrar Hasham Khan; CEO of PSEB, Abu Bakar; and Chairman of P@SHA, Sajjad Syed, were in attendance. The board was briefed on PSEB’s significant contributions to Pakistan’s IT sector through marketing, business development, and workforce development initiatives. In the domain of marketing and business development, it was reported that PSEB facilitated 27 international events and outbound delegations during the last 18 months, with participation from 272 companies. These efforts led to the generation of 7,862 business leads, strengthening the global footprint of Pakistan’s IT industry.
