Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Amin Ul Haque attending the Virtual Ministerial meeting to launch #DCO (Digital Cooperation Organization) organized by Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on November 26, 2020. Federal Secretary Ministry of IT and Telecommunication Shoaib Ahmad Siddiqui, Director General International Coordination Ajmal Anwar Awan, Member IT Syed Junaid Imam and other senior officials were also present during the virtual launch of DCO. Founded by Pakistan, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, the DCO is driven by a vision to Realize a Digital Future for All by empowering women, youth and entreprenuers, growing the Digital Economy, and leapfrogging with innovation. Based on its digital focused charter, the DCO welcomes participation and guidance from the private sector, international organizations, non-government organizations and the academic world. Senior government officials from several nations patronized the launch of the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) – a global organization aimed at strengthening cooperation across all innovation driven areas and accelerating growth of the Digital Economy. The Event was attended be H.E. Houlin Zhao ITU Secretary General and H.E Borge Brende, President, World Economic Forum.
