Ambassador of Uzbekistan calls on Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Mr. Oybek Arif Usmanov called on Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja here on Wednesday. 
Matters of mutual interest and relating to boosting cooperation in 
the field of IT and Telecommunication between Pakistan and Uzbekistan were discussed in the meeting.
The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in the field of IT and Telecommunication.
Minister of State for IT Shaza Fatima said Pakistan values its ties with Uzbekistan, adding that the cooperation between the two countries in the field of IT & Telecom is vital. Both Pakistan and Uzbekistan can benefit from each other's experiences in the field of IT and Telecommunication, she added.
The Uzbekistan ambassador said the government of Uzbekistan wanted to increase its relations with Pakistan in IT and Telecom sector. We aspire to have joint working group of Ministry of Digital Technologies, Uzbekistan and Pakistan Ministry of IT and Telecommunication to boosting ties in IT and telecom sector, he maintained. He said Uzbekistan also wanted to intiate startups exchange program with Pakistan.
Meeting was also attended by DG International Coordination, MoITT, Syed Jawwad Ali Sherazi. /Ends
