In-person course on sustainable infrastructure project development under SCPTA

The “In-person course on sustainable infrastructure project development and financing to be conducted by Nanyang Technological University in Singapore from 12-16 August 2024, under the Singapore Partnership Programme Training Award (SCPTA)”.

As per the letter, the Government of Singapore has invited one nomination for the above partially-funded training course. The Government of Singapore will bear local hospitality (accommodation and local transfer), training fees, training fees, training allowance and group personal accident/hospitalization insurance. The round-trip airfare for participants will have to be borne by the nominating Ministry or Provincial department

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Government employees (BS-17 and above) and nominated by the respective Federal Ministry or Provincial Department
  • Mid to Senior-level government officials involved in climate change, infrastructure project planning and investment
  • Nominated by their respective governments
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • In good health

Objective:

  • This course will provide participants with in-depth knowledge of their policies and regulatory frameworks for the development, financing and investment of different infrastructure sectors and systems, including power, water, port, airport, urban rail and land transport systems.

Nomination of suitable candidates duly approved by the competent authority along with the following documents may kindly be forwarded by 17th June 2024. Nominees are also requested to apply online at https://go.gov.sg/sustainableinfra2024  as required by Singapore. Nominations without online application will not be considered by the host.

Further, it may be apprised that on per direction of the Foreign Training Committee (FTC) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, all officers proceeding on foreign training have been directed to submit a 1000-word post-visit report upon return.
