The policy establishes a unified national framework to recognize data as a strategic national asset and ensure its secure, ethical, and effective governance. It aims to enhance public service delivery, support evidence-based decision-making, and drive socio-economic development by promoting data interoperability, responsible data sharing, and innovation while safeguarding privacy, security, and public trust.
MoITT invites all stakeholders, including citizens, academia, researchers, civil society organizations, the private sector, ICT industry, and public sector organizations, to review the draft policy and provide their valuable feedback. Your input is vital to developing a comprehensive, practical, and inclusive policy that reflects the collective aspirations of the nation.
